Mansion in May - Through the Years 

Since our first Mansion in May Designer Showhouse & Gardens in 1974, The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center has proudly hosted nineteen Mansion events that have generated over $12 million to support various causes at Morristown Medical Center.

The First Mansion in May was held at Upton Pyne in Bernardsville in 1974.

The Women's Association proudly hosted our very first Mansion in May at Upton Pyne in Bernardsville. This inaugural event raised $133,000 for new ICU and CCU units.

Our fourth Mansion in May was held at Hollow Hill Farm in Convent Station in 1980

Our fourth Mansion in May was hosted at Hollow Hill Farm in Convent Station and raised $200,000 for the Special Care Nursery Clinic.

The Seventh Mansion in May was hosted again at Upton Pyne in 1991.

Upton Pyne Revisited in Bernardsville hosted our seventh Mansion in May and raised $450,000 for the Emergency Room renovation.

Our 10th Mansion in May was hosted at Knox Hill in Morris Township.

1999

Knox Hill in Morris Township was host to our tenth Mansion in May and raised $410,000 for The Children’s Medical Center.

The Ross Family Farm in Basking Ridge hosted our thirteenth Mansion in May.

2006

Our thirteenth Mansion in May was held at The Ross Family Farm in Basking Ridge and raised $610,000 to benefit the Gagnon Heart Hospital.

The sixteen Mansion in May was hosted at Glynallyn in Morris Township.

2012

Over 27,000 visitors & 1,200 volunteers came to Glynallyn in Morris Township for our 16th Mansion in May where we raised $1,326,886 to benefit the Hospice & Palliative Care Center at MMC.

Tyvan Hill in New Vernon became the host of the 19th Mansion in May which, due to Covid 19 became Spendor in September.

2020

Tyvan Hill in New Vernon hosted the 19th Mansion in May (becoming Splendor in September due to Covid) and raised $1 million to expand the 5th floor of the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute.

Second Mansion in May was held at Giralda Farms in Madison in 1976.

Our second Mansion in May was held at Giralda Farms in Madison and raised $270,000 for Friends Fund of Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Our fifth Mansion in May was held at Evergreens in Morristown in 1981

Our fifth Mansion in May, held at Evergreens in Morristown, raised $127,000 for the Cardiac Rehab Extension.

The eighth Mansion in May was hosted by Bayley-Ellard in Madison in 1994.

Bayley-Ellard in Madison hosted our eighth Mansion in May and raised $325,000 for the Carol G. Simon Women’s Cancer Center.

The eleventh Mansion in May was held at Ellerslea in Morris Township.

2001

Ellerslea in Morris Township was the site of our eleventh Mansion in May and raised $460,000 for Goryeb Children’s Hospital.

The fourteenth Mansion in May was held at Froh Heim in Far Hills.

The Women’s Association’s fourteenth Mansion in May was held at Froh Heim and raised $585,528 for Valerie Fund Children’s Center at Goryeb Children’s Hospital.

Blairsden in Peapack-Gladstone hosted the seventeenth Mansion in May.

In May 2014, guests gathered at the stunning Blairsden where $2 million was raised to benefit the PICU & Autism Center at Goryeb Children’s Hospital.

The third Mansion in May was hosted at the Schiff Estate in Mendham in 1980.

The Schiff Estate in Mendham hosted our third Mansion in May and raised $231,000 for new OB/GYN units.

The sixth Mansion in May was held at the Warren Estate in Bernardsville in 1988.

The Women's Association's sixth Mansion in May event was held at the Warren Estate in Bernardsville and raised $350,000 for a Telemetry Unit for Cardiac Surgery.

The ninth Mansion in May was hosted at The Vail Mansion in Morristown.

1997

In 1997, the Women’s Association of Morristown Memorial Hospital held its ninth Mansion in May at this location and raised $325,000 for The Carol G. Simon Cancer Center.

The Cross Estate in Bernardsville became our twelfth Mansion in May.

2003

The Cross Estate
Bernardsville

In May 2003, the Cross Estate in Bernardsville became the twelfth Mansion and raised $662,000 to benefit the NICU expansion.

The fifteenth Mansion in May was held at Fawn Hill Farm in Harding Township.

2010

Our fifteenth Mansion in May, held at Fawn Hill Farm in Harding Township, raised $810,000 to benefit the Emergency Department Expansion Campaign at MMC.

Alnwick Hall in Morris Township became our eighteenth Mansion in May.

2017

Morris Township

Alnwick Hall, known today as The Abbey, was home to our eighteenth Mansion in May. The Center for Nursing Innovation & Research benefited from the $1,502,000 proceeds.
