Tyvan Hill - New Vernon

Tyvan Hill in New Vernon hosted the 19th Mansion in May (becoming Splendor in September due to Covid) and raised $1 million to expand the 5th floor of the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute.

About Tyvan Hill

Our most recent Mansion in May, which became Splendor In September due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was held at the stunning Tyvan Hill estate in New Vernon. The Women’s Association had to get creative in the virtual planning process and navigate restrictions we couldn’t imagine were our reality, but nonetheless, we proudly raised $1 million to expand the 5th floor of the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute.

Tyvan Hill was designed and built between 1928 and 1929 as the gracious country residence of John Wesley Castles Jr. and his wife, the former Anna Dorothea Bradford Smith.
