MORRISTOWN, NJ, September 30, 2026 – The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center is pleased to announce that proceeds from its 22nd Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens, to be held at Oxbow Farm in Bedminster, New Jersey, will support the expansion of Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center.
To help meet the growing demand for specialized inpatient care in recent years, Atlantic Health Morristown will add 11 new inpatient rooms in a wing adjacent to the Nancy and Skippy Weinstein Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center. Opened in 2015, the 11-bed center was the first dedicated inpatient hospice and palliative care unit in an acute care hospital in the region. It was established to provide specialized, compassionate care focused on treating the whole patient to relieve suffering and improve the quality and comfort of life for those with chronic or life-limiting illnesses. The addition of 11 inpatient rooms will expand the capacity to provide a calm, comforting environment for hospice and palliative care as well as general patient care when needed. WAMMC previously contributed $1.3 million toward the center through its 2012 Mansion in May fundraising event held at Glynallyn in Morris Township.
“We are deeply grateful to the Women’s Association for choosing the expansion of our Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center as the beneficiary for its Mansion in May 2027 fundraising event,” said Trish O’Keefe, PhD, RN, President, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. “Their generous support will help us address the growing needs of our community and expand our capacity to provide the much-needed specialized care, comfort and compassionate support to our patients and their families.”
Mansion in May, one of the area’s most anticipated designer showhouse and gardens events, welcomes more than 24,000 visitors and serves as the signature fundraiser for WAMMC. Since its inception in 1974, the event has generated nearly $16 million in support of Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center.
In 2027, Oxbow Farm, a magnificent 13,000-square-foot Georgian-style manor, will join the distinguished list of estates to host Mansion in May. Tickets for Mansion in May 2027 will be available beginning in late fall 2026. For more information about Mansion in May, visit www.mansioninmay.org.
