MORRISTOWN, NJ, September 18, 2024 –The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) is thrilled to announce that Wildfair in Chester Township, New Jersey has been chosen as the distinguished venue for its 21st Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens.

Since 1974, Mansion in May has stood as the hallmark fundraiser for WAMMC, amassing nearly $14 million in support of Morristown Medical Center. This year, Wildfair will join the prestigious ranks of historic estates hosting the event and welcoming visitors daily from May 1 to May 31, 2025.

Rich in history, Wildfair’s origins extend over 220 years. Initially a thriving farm and the site of a gristmill, sawmill and millstone workshop, the estate was transformed in 1934 by Elizabeth and Harry Bowly Hollins III. They enlisted the Philadelphia architectural firm Willing, Sims & Talbutt to craft their vision of a refined country retreat. Retaining the original stone farmhouse, they added extensive fieldstone expansions, creating the estate known as Wildfair. Its Colonial charm is accentuated by small-pane casement windows, French doors and bay windows overlooking the estate's serene pond. In the mid-1990s, significant enhancements by architect Hiland Hall Turner and Eberle Builders, Inc. further refined the estate into the sprawling, elegant property it is today.

Tickets for Mansion in May 2025 will be available online starting December 2024. Advance tickets for group private tours will be available online starting February 1, 2025, with individual private tour tickets following on March 1, 2025.
