LEADING INTERIOR DESIGNERS SELECTED FOR MANSION IN MAY 2023 AT THREE FIELDS

MORRISTOWN, NJ, December 2, 2022 – The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center has selected 27 leading interior design firms for its 2023 Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens to be held at Three Fields in Mendham Borough, New Jersey. The designers will contribute their time and talent in the months ahead to transform and showcase their unique spaces on opening day, May 1, 2023. Funds raised by Mansion in May 2023 will contribute to the expansion and modernization of the Institute of Bioskills Training and Innovation at Morristown Medical Center.

“Mansion in May always attracts prestigious designers, and this year is no exception,” said Alexandra Elliott, Mansion in May Design Co-Chair. “We received an impressive number of proposals from a multitude of well-known design firms from the New Jersey/New York area and the creativity, vision and inventiveness was, once again, outstanding,” added Lisa Overley, Mansion in May Design Co-Chair.

Three Fields, a 9,000 square foot stone, brick and tile-roofed French manor style home, was designed and built between 1929 and 1930. It’s beautifully situated on almost 36 acres of pastoral, rolling fields and features many architectural elements, including tall, steeply pitched tile roofs punctuated by dormers, wood casement windows (originally shuttered) and French doors that opened to the formal gardens, ponds, and fields beyond.

Mansion in May is the preeminent designer showhouse and gardens in the New Jersey-New York area, attracting over 25,000 visitors. Three Fields will be open to the public for Mansion in May from May 1 to May 31, 2023. Advance tickets at $40 are available online through December 31, 2022. Tickets for private tours and $50 general admission tickets will be available for purchase online beginning February 1, 2023.
