MORRISTOWN, NJ, December 11, 2024 – The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) has selected an impressive group of landscape designers for its 2025 Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens to be held at Wildfair in Chester Township, New Jersey. The designers will provide their landscaping, architectural and artistic expertise to create outdoor spaces for visitors to experience while touring the grounds of this elegant country estate, which opens to the public on May 1, 2025. Funds raised by Mansion in May 2025 will support the new Proton Therapy Center at Morristown Medical Center.
"We're excited to announce the incredible landscape firms joining us for Mansion in May 2025,” says Michelle Meszaros, Landscape Committee Co-Chair. “This year’s designs are truly inspired, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of the Wildfare estate grounds. Visitors can look forward to spaces that blend beauty and functionality, with unique designs, vibrant colors, relaxing seating areas and dramatic sculptures. Whether you're strolling through the gardens or taking in the view from inside the mansion, the grounds promise a wonderful experience.”
Wildfair is a nearly 9,500 square foot fieldstone and tile-roofed neo-Colonial country estate house. The original structure, dating back over 220 years, was significantly enlarged in 1934. The house is beautifully sited at the end of a long, gently curving driveway on the 55-acre farm-estate. The charm of this multi-level house is enhanced by several second-floor balconies; small-pane, solid-shuttered windows; gabled and eyebrow dormers and French doors and bay windows overlooking the terraced pool and millpond beyond.
Mansion in May is the preeminent designer showhouse and gardens in the New Jersey-New York area, attracting over 25,000 visitors. Wildfair will be open to the public for Mansion in May from May 1 to May 31, 2025. Advance tickets at $40 are available online through December 31, 2024. General Admission Tickets for $50 will be available for purchase online beginning January 1, 2025, and at $55 May 1 through May 31. Tickets for Private Group Tours and Individual Group
