LANDSCAPE DESIGNERS SELECTED FOR MANSION IN MAY 2023 AT THREE FIELDS

MORRISTOWN, NJ – December 19, 2022 -- The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) has selected an impressive group of landscape designers for its 2023 Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens to be held at Three Fields in the Borough of Mendham, New Jersey. The designers will provide their landscaping, architectural and artistic expertise to create outdoor spaces for visitors to experience while touring the grounds of this elegant country estate, which opens to the public on May 1, 2023. Funds raised by Mansion in May 2023 will benefit the expansion and modernization of the Institute of Bioskills Training and Innovation at Morristown Medical Center.

“Our landscape designers have submitted unique proposals that are both beautiful and functional. They are exquisite, and will include vibrant flowering plants, a water feature, relaxing seating and dramatic sculpture. The estate grounds are exceptional with historic outbuildings, magnificent vistas and mature specimen trees,” said Katherine Sheeleigh, Landscape Design Co-Chair. Michelle Meszaros, Landscape Design Co-Chair added, “We are grateful to Susan Cohan, principal and design director of Susan Cohan Gardens, for her generous contributions in creating the Master Site Plan for the landscape design and her invaluable expertise.”

Three Fields, a 9,000 square foot stone, brick and tile-roofed French manor-style home, was designed and built between 1929 and 1930. It’s beautifully situated on almost 36 acres of pastoral, rolling fields and features many architectural elements, including tall, steeply pitched tile roofs punctuated by dormers, wood casement windows (originally shuttered) and French doors that opened to the formal gardens, ponds and fields beyond. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the beautiful landscape design spaces at Three Fields, enjoy a light lunch in the Café and shop in the unique Vendor Boutiques.

Mansion in May is the preeminent designer showhouse and gardens in the New Jersey-New York area, attracting over 25,000 visitors. Three Fields will be open to the public for Mansion in May from May 1 to May 31, 2023. Advance tickets at $40 are available online through December 31, 2022. Tickets for private tours and $50 general admission tickets will be available for purchase online beginning February 1, 2023. ABOUT THE WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION FOR MORRISTOWN MEDICAL CENTER

Founded in March 1893 to provide financial support to Morristown Medical Center, part of the Atlantic Health System, the Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) helps enable the hospital to respond to the changing healthcare needs of the community. With a volunteer base of more than 400 members, WAMMC hosts a number of fundraising events, anchored by the flagship event, Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens, open to the public every two or three years. WAMMC also operates the hospital’s gift shops and The Bargain Box Thrift Boutique, as well as WAMMC Network TV, which created Calling All Kids and is the first in-house family television station for young patients and their families to enjoy during their stay at the hospital.
