Karla Trincanello - Interior Decisions

Karla Trincanello is a N.J. Board Certified Interior Designer and Allied Member of ASID, the American Society of Interior Designers and graduated Magna cum Laude from Kean University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Designer earned with Distinction. Beginning her career by working for a prominent international interior designer, she then ventured on to her own business, incorporating in 1986 as Interior Decisions, Inc. A professional design firm and personally designing award winning residential and commercial interiors and businesses for her client's, building a reputation for her award-winning interiors with referrals from builders and architects throughout the U.S. from her many in state and out of state projects her clientele has brought her. She has been an active member of ASID since her student days winning numerous awards and serving on the Board of Trustees as well as Co-Chairing the 2006 ASID Community Service program designing spaces and rooms for two N.J. hospitals, St. Barnabas Medical in Livingston, NJ and Monmouth Medical Centers in their Hospice and Palliative Care wards. Karla is also the recipient of the ASID Design Excellence Award winning to date twenty-two distinguished awards for residential and commercial interiors as well as being the first recipient of the ASID Renee B. Hennessey Outstanding Allied Member of ASID Award.

In addition, Karla has participated in ten designer show houses through the years including the Stately Homes by the Sea Designer Show House in Rumson, Twin Maples Centennial Designer Show House in Summit and eight Mansion in May Designer Show houses; as well as winning the noted Mansion in May Tulip Award in 2012. Her designs have been published in many national magazines and New Jersey publications including New York Spaces, Design New Jersey, Aspire Magazine, Millburn-Short Hills Magazine, NJ Home Magazine, Gallery Magazine, Morris and Essex Magazine, Montclair Magazine, Vue Magazine, Décor Magazine
