Great Brook Gallery

Born and raised in NJ, we moved to New Vernon in 1981. I was a stay at home mom who was very involved in volunteerism in my spare time. I focused on a variety of charities and public service. I started the town's Shade Tree Committee and was its first chairman, and a member for 28 years, I was a founding member of the Open Space Trust for twenty five years and a member of the Environmental Commission for twenty two years and a founding member of the Citizens Parks Advisory Committee. I am a president emeritus of the Harding Land Trust, a president emeritus and member of the New Vernon Garden Club and also the Garden Group of John's Island, Vero Beach, FL, a member of the Jr. League of Morristown, Raised funds for the Pingry School chairing the Gall Fundraiser for two years. Finally I decided to paint! I fell in love with oil painting plein air and have been rewarded with awards and public support. Through my studies, I met John C. Traynor and because of that friendship decided to open a Gallery in the Historic Business District of New Vernon. Our Gallery is thriving with very talented friends and artists who have found us. I like to say that "New Art Arrives Daily." Most days you can find me upstairs happily painting in my studio. Stop by often to see what's new!
